Black – achromatic color, no light output from the object. In the RGB system is denoted as # 000000. Shades of blackcalled – gray.
Psychology and Color.
Black bestows a sense of dignity and power, however, may serve as a barrier between people. Its always better to complement it with the other colors.
Black and other colors can create strong energy mix, for example:
red + black: physical, sexual power;
pink + black: high social position;
yellow + black: mental superiority.
Black also has protective properties.
When we feel vulnerable and we need protection, or when we feel the need for solitude, we are using black.
Black is widely used in design of electronics, business clothes, cars, business companies websites, etc.

One of the most common misconceptions in web design – is customary view about the bleakness of black. May be, it is because the natural environment of the European man did not contain many completely black things, or for some other reason, but this color is always seen as something mysterious and metaphysical. For many, it creates unpleasant associations and epithets – fiend, the color of pitch dark and deep, inconsolable grief.
However, black is able to captivate the heart. It is absolutely untrue that it necessarily makes site bleak. In it more than in other colors, enclosed mass of allusions and subtexts: the philosophical, literary, artistic and emotional. It, like no other, catch the eye, focuses on attention, makes you wonder. He is volatile, different, never can be the  same. On his background bright becomes more brighter and light – lighter.
Of course, only arrant originals can choose it as predominant color, because in large quantities it can blow bleak and depressed mood, absorb light and reduce space. However, for contrast, and underscore  other colors, he is good as any other.
Black – is a neutral color, it is suitable for all colors, cold and warm. Against it, they “sound” particularly vivid and expressive. As a supplement, it is combined with any color, except only  pastel and translucent colors.
The extreme contrasts of light and dark, black and white, as a rule, primarily associated with a chessboard, a striped zebra skin and piano keyboard.
