August 3rd, 2010 Making a progress with new virtuemart developer team.

The virtuemart developers seems to stop upgrade of the viruemart version but not every human knows that they produce a new version of virtuemart. For example it is 1.1.5. But we will speak about this version a bit later.

The founder and former leader of virtuemart Sören is from now on administrating the sites and provides the platform they used to develop VirtueMart. Sören didn’t have the time lately to steer the project. So they decided to take 3 leaders – one of them will be around almost everytime. The ship is now steered by Rick (bass_28), Max (milbo), and Roland (rolandd)

Oh we forgot about changes. Developers tried to change vm 1.2 to MVC and they used the native joomla methods as best as possible.

They call that version vm1.5. At the moment they rewrite already the backend views. By that way they get rid off old bugs and clean the code. There are already a lot of new features in vm1.2 so they dont want to add features. First priority is to get a sophisticated smooth running code in joomla MVC style.

The community of vituemart welcome everyone for giving a help. Because they need peoples backups.

Our site is also working with following version. The release was 24.07.2010 and we start to produce new virtuemart tamplates for our honorable customers. As we try to be in step with the times.
